- ABOUT LAKELAND

The Career Development Office invites faculty members to partner with us and provide relevant career related information to our students. By partnering in such opportunities, you help students better understand the value of their liberal arts education and how to prepare for the working environment. Below is a brief listing of the services we have to to offer with faculty members in mind!
CLASS ASSIGNMENTS - As part of your course requirements, if you would like students to complete a resume, cover letter, or any other project career related, please give us a call and we can help coordinate that process with you. We would like to meet with students individually to review their specific needs and concerns. We can also keep in contact with you to ensure that everyone has met your expectations. Consider adding a career compenet in your classroom!
INTERNSHIP ADVISORS - If you are working with a student to do an internship, please also advise them to make a stop at the Career Development Office. It is necessary that they complete paperwork in order to earn academic credit. Learn more with our Internship Guide.
REFERENCE REQUESTS - If you need to write a letter of reference for one of your students and are not sure where to begin, check out these links, from the National Association of Colleges and Employers, for tips of the trade!
