My name is Lisa Stephan and I am the Director of Career Development. My history with Lakeland is long, as I graduated from Lakeland with a Bachelors of Arts degree in Psychology and Sociology and began working here 20 years ago. Prior to Lakeland, I had worked in residential treatment with adolescents and also enjoyed working in Japan as an Assistant English Teacher. Upon returning to Lakeland, I worked several years in student activities before moving over into career development. I earned a Master's Degree in Counseling with an emphasis in Higher Education. I am crazy about the Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) and I also coordinate the internship program. Our office is committed to student success and fantastic service. The staff is top-notch and we have a tremendous cookie jar to welcome you!

My name is Jessica Lambrecht and I have been a Career Counselor at Lakeland College since August of 2007. In my short time here, I have really enjoyed the small campus setting and involved student population. Prior to Lakeland, I was working as a Residence Hall Director at UW-Stevens Point. I earned my bachelors degree in Marketing Communications and Speech Communications from UW-River Falls. My masters degree is from the University of Kansas in Higher Education Administration. I have always had a strong interest in career development and helping students develop their passion and future career interests. I am very excited to work with students on an individual basis and help them gain the skills necessary to be successful in finding employment after college!

I will be available to look over resumes and help students edit their job search materials.  I also help promote the career events so that more of the underclassmen will be involved. I am available to help students on career connect and getting ready to begin the job searching adventure. After i receive my bachelors degree I plan to move on to graduate school to get my masters in Psychology. While in graduate school, I plan to get a job at a Children's Hospital or elementary school as a social worker.
