Lakeland has set plans for its annual Family Day celebration on Saturday, Sept. 30.
Every year, Lakeland welcomes parents and other family members to spend a day with their special student attending a variety of Lakeland events.
Check-in and family pictures will be taken in the Younger Campus Center lobby from 10 a.m.-noon. Lunch with Lakeland faculty and staff members follows in Bossard Hall, giving families a chance to get to know the people working with their student.
It's a busy day for Lakeland athletics, and families can check out the football game against Benedictine at 1 p.m., the women's soccer game against Marian College at 1 p.m. and the men's soccer game against Marian at 3 p.m.
Following dinner in Bossard, families can play bingo in The Pub from 6-8 p.m., then enjoy a performance by Mentalist Scott Xavier in the Bradley Building at 8 p.m.
