Lakeland nonprofit group hosting wine and cheese silent auction

The Lakeland College American Humanics Student Association will host its sixth annual Wine and Cheese Silent Auction on April 5 on Lakeland's campus. Savor the taste of local wines and cheeses while bidding on an array of items.

The event, which will be held in room 209 of the Laun Center, is set for 6-9 p.m.

Tickets are $25 per person or $35 per couple. The proceeds from this event will benefit Lakeland's AHSA chapter, which offers opportunities for the college's nonprofit student leaders. Some proceeds will enable some students in Malawi, Africa, to attend high school.
