Lakeland to host first Muskie 3 on 3 basketball tourney

SHEBOYGAN - The Lakeland College women's basketball program is hosting the first ever Muskie 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament, to be played Sunday, Oct. 7 at the Wehr Center.

The tourney is open to all males and females from students entering fifth grade through adults. Divisions include fifth and sixth graders, middle school, high school, as well as open divisions for adult men and women.

Teams will consist of a minimum of three and no more than four players each, and each team is guaranteed a minimum of three games. Teams can consist of players from multiple grade levels, but will be placed at the level of the oldest player on the team.

Games will start at 9 a.m. on Sunday, and a free instructional session will be held by the Lakeland coaching staff starting at 8:30 a.m. with fundamentals and strategies for 3 on 3 play.

Registration fee is $100 per team, and checks can be made payable to Lakeland College Women's Basketball, and registrations must be sent by Sept. 24. Registration forms can be picked up at the Lakeland athletics offices or accessed online on the Muskies athletics website. Mailed registrations and payments can be sent to:
