Meg Albrinck, who holds a Ph.D. and master's degree in English from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, serves the college in a variety of roles.
In addition to her current role as vice president for academic affairs and dean of the college, Albrinck teaches courses in 19th and 20th century British literature and in the interdisciplinary studies sequence. She is also a peer reviewer for the Higher Learning Commission.
Since arriving at Lakeland in 1999, Albrinck has chaired two divisions (humanities and general studies). She has published on Virginia Woolf, World War I literature, and Gertrude Stein, and has won numerous awards — including the college's prestigious Underkofler Award for Excellence in Undergraduate Teaching in 2003.
